    Master Trainer/Instructor

“Hi! I am a San Diego native and moved to Washington in the Summer of 2019. I discovered Pilates through Club Pilates back in 2013 and immediately fell in love with how it challenged me physically, mentally, and emotionally. Needing a change from a high-stress sales career in the biotech industry, I decided to go through the Club Pilates Teacher Training Program. I received my Pilates certification in 2015. Pilates played a significant role in helping me gain physical strength, mental clarity, and confidence that I wanted to share these gifts with others. I am also Trigger Point, Barre Above and TRX, and ActivMotion Bar Certified. In addition to being an instructor, I am also a Master Trainer for Club Pilates. Outside of the studio, I am also a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and Licensed East Asian Medicine Practitioner. In my free time, I enjoy spending my time with my fur babies, hiking, being outdoors, traveling, and getting lost in a book.”

  • Ryo Chea

    Instructor

Ryo is certified in Stott Pilates, Total Barre, and Trigger Point. The world of Pilates is all she needs when it comes to functional movements for the mind and body. She finds it rewarding that she can share this with others. She hopes to see you in her classes! A few things she enjoys is sweet Dungeness crab dipped in lemon butter with a side of creamed spinach, a petite medium-rare steak, a strong White Russian for dessert, and she’s happy! She’s a night owl, and that’s when she dives into the UFO world of advanced technology and interstellar communication... the truth is out there! She plans on refreshing her sewing skills this coming year. The last thing she sewed was an apron in her 7th grade Home Economics class, which she still uses for gardening.

Howdy! As an advocate for life-long, active play (especially as we age), I enjoy helping others find joy in their movement and confidence in their bodies so that they may take every opportunity life presents to them. Pilates has enabled me to run trails, climb rocks, fall off rocks and generally frolic around the PNW in ways I never imagined possible after my back surgery 12 years ago. In the time since Pilates has improved my bodily awareness and provided the endurance necessary for everything from trans-Pacific flights to week-long hikes. I began teaching movement 10 years ago in the karate dojos of Okinawa, Japan, then moved on to the yoga mat, and now I am fully trained through STOTT Pilates. I love the opportunity to work with anyone seeking to improve how they move, feel, and think about their bodies in either group or private classes. My favorite things to do with my body are play outside, love on animals, dance, eat, and acro (partnered acrobatics; also known as acro yoga to some, and the most fun I have playing as an “adult”).

  • Sarah Martinez

    Instructor

Sarah started as a Pilates student and is now an instructor. She was introduced to fitness and her love for it on her weight loss journey. She tried Pilates three years ago when she worked for Lululemon. The first class felt easy, but then she couldn’t laugh the next day because she was so sore. It was love at first plank! She has lost 80 pounds and kept it off over the last 5 years. She holds her certified personal trainer certificate from NASM and has been a trainer for 4 years. When she isn’t doing Pilates, you will find her at OrangeTheory coaching as head coach. She spends most of her free time with her big Great Dane, Thor. She enjoys walking with Thor, summer sun, red wine, and green smoothies. Her favorite part of Pilates class is extension!

  • Jocelyn Wilson

    Instructor

I fell in love with Pilates the first time I laid on a reformer. Everything about Pilates, the breath, the connection to your mind & body, and all the exercises. I took my Pilates training through Club Pilates and have been Club Pilates Certified since September of 2017. I have been certified in TRX, Barre Above, and Trigger Point since 2017, who all collaborate with Club Pilates. Some of my hobbies include hanging out with my husband and mini Australian Sheppard, going on walks, to the park, and the river/beach. I love staying active, so when I am not practicing Pilates, I will either be at OrangeTheory or a barre class. Something exciting about myself is that I also have my certification in Cosmetology. So, after Pilates class, we could work in a partial foil and haircut.

  • Suzanna Baldridge

    Instructor

After completing Club Pilates Teacher Training, Suzanna fast-tracked to becoming a Club Pilates Instructor Apprentice. Eventually, becoming Fully Certified in The Club Pilates Method in February of 2017 - she began practicing Pilates within weeks of having her son via C-Section as a way to help get back into shape physically, and as an outlet mentally. She was hooked. Since that day in 2013, Pilates has been a way of life, and now a career. Before Pilates and being a stay at home mom, she had a successful 12-year run in banking. She could not be more excited to become an instructor and help others experience the benefits and rewards of Pilates like she did, with a deep appreciation for the fact that Pilates can not only be life-changing but is adaptable to many different lifestyles. Suzanna enjoys introducing people to Pilates and making the studio a welcoming place. She enjoys working with new mothers, beginners, and anyone who loves some quality time on the reformer. Suzanna also holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Washington and is an expert in mid-80’s Pandora stations. If you are on the fence about Pilates, Suzanna would love to show you what it's all about.
