Dr. Amrita Majumdar, DMD, MDS (Endodontics), BDS
Owner & Lead DentistDr. Amrita Majumdar brings an incredible blend of technical skill, compassion, and global perspective to Kent Station Family Dentistry. After earning her bachelor's (BDS) and master's (MDS, Endodontics) in India, she served both as a lecturer—teaching and inspiring predoctoral dental students—and as a clinician managing a dental clinic. Dr. Amrita’s dedication to community service saw her volunteering countless hours with low-income groups, rural schoolchildren, prison inmates, and the underserved in Northern India. Upon moving to the United States in 2015, she furthered her education by achieving her DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston. Dr. Amrita continues to uplift communities in the U.S., actively volunteering with organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Mission of Mercy, the Elder Brown Bag Program, the American Red Cross Society, and Remote Area Medical (RAM). Her empathy—deepened by childhood memories of her mother’s dental anxiety—drives her to create an elevated, serene experience for each patient, especially those who are anxious or fearful. She takes pride in partnering with patients to address their concerns honestly, educate them, and find lasting, effective solutions. Outside the office, Dr. Amrita cherishes the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, embracing hiking, kayaking, and exploring new foods alongside her family.
